I went to check my site traffic details on Alexa and saw that the interface has just been revamped. For people who has used Alexa for a while, you will surely noticed that there are now new details for “Bounce Rate” and “Time on Site” which I believe wasn’t there in the past.
The url path to get to your site details has been changed as well. Previously, it looks something like http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/davidtan.org, but Alexa is now redirecting that to their new http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/davidtan.org url structure.
The “bounce rate” feature gave me a scare as I find my site having a higher bounce rate then measured through Google Analytics. Site owners usually use Google Analytics to keep track of their site’s bounce rate and this data is usually kept secret for personal/private consumption. With Alexa providing similar data, I assume some site owners will be happy to get this data for free and be busy checking out their competitors.
