Article marketing, or also known as BUM marketing, is a popular way of writing useful niche articles with backlinks going back to your own site, submit it to article directories in hope of gaining more link juice and traffic from the search engines.

The more popular directories which I’m seeing a lot of people doing BUM marketing are obviously:

– articletrader.com

And the list goes on. Since article directories owners knows that they can just get people to submit content and show adsense ads, there are practically hundreds (if not thousands) of these so called article directories out there which can be quite hard to keep up with.
