How To Enable/Allow Root Login with Password Authentication on Ubuntu EC2 Instances
By default, any new Amazon EC2 instances using the Ubuntu AMI will have password authentication login disabled AND the only way for root user to login is by using SSH keypairs. This should ideally remain that way for security reasons, but there are certain cases where you might need to enable and allow root users login using password. I had to do this when connecting an EC2 Ubuntu instance to serverpilot.

XAMPP/WAMP Apache Won’t Start in Windows 10 Solution

WordPress Autoptimize Plugin: Require Not Allowed Here Error Message Solution
I found out about the Autoptimized wordpress plugin not so long ago and have been using it for all my wordpress blogs. In short, it helps in minimising and consolidating all js and css that you might have from your active theme and plugins into a single js and single css.
The plugin is working great but I had some issues while using it on a self managed cloud server (in my case, digital ocean). For some reasons, the path to the consolidated js and css wasn’t accessible and returning 404.

Eclipse Juno Restart Workspace Error Solution
I’ve just installed a new plugin for Eclipse Juno, and have to restart it to finish the installation process. It failed and a messagebox poped up showing:

Embedded YouTube Videos Restricted Playback on Certain Sites When No HTTP Referrer Sent
So it happened that certain embedded YouTube videos on my site were not playing in firefox while running perfectly fine in other browser such as IE, Opera, Chrome and Safari.
I was getting the following message:
