Right Way of Losing Weight
If there were really a right, perfect, 100% safe, and cheap formula for lossing weight, what could it be?

Valentine 2008: A Gift For Her
I presume that I’m not one of those Mr. Romantic that always remember about special occassions, especially days like the first kiss, the date we first hold hands or day we had our first night out and dinner together. And before I noticed, it was Valentine’s day 2008. Geez, who created this “festival” anyway?

Back For Holiday in Home Town Kota Kinabalu
After two years off from my native hometown in Kota Kinabalu to pursue my studies and dreams in Perth, I’m finally back.
I took a 2 weeks leave from my company. 2 weeks should be enough for a chinese new year reunion with my family and friends. It was actaully a long trip back home. I took a midnight flight from Perth to Singapore (Tiger Air) and Singapore to Kota Kinabalu (Silkair). I was just glad it ended when I touch down on Kota Kinabalu.
So mum did cooked up lots of food for the whole family. Some days I was even wondering why hours passed so fast and it was again time for another meal before I even notice. Mum fed me so well that my girlfriend will probably ask for my name when I get back to Perth. But who cares? I’ve been away for 2 years! The food and soup taste so good that I’m willing to take the risk.
At the time I left KK in 2006, City mall was still laying its foundation. And today, I’m drinking starbucks, coffee, bubble tea, chinese herbs tea, polluting my digestive system with KFC and pizzas (and the list goes on..) at that same place. Since I lived just nearby, I can go there everynight to meet my friends, sing a song, and bluff how the waves looks so nice in Perth with beaches filled with hot chicks and bikinis.
I wonder why a friend of mine was willing to work in KL when he can get something better and a PR if he worked in Melbourne. He told us he loved his country, Malaysia. Really? Is it because Malaysia produce so much news with good entertainment value such as “Negarakuku” + “Datuk Chua Soi Lek Sex Tape” + pirated stuffs that made him stay? But if there’s a plan that he laid personally for himself, then that’s good for him. There’s gold everywhere when you have the right plan and the right mindset.
I think living and food cost has definately rose in KK. Even a milo ping cost RM2 or more! There are so many shopping malls in the city centre (Wawasan, Centre Point, Wisma Merdeka etc) and they are still building Utama in Kingfisher Park near the Universiti Malaysia Sabah and extending the area beside and opposite of Sutera harbour. Is KK really so prosperous and have the money, people and customers to fill these shopping centres?
It was definately a great chinese new year. We’ve got relatives visitng from Canada and my brother and sister were back at home to celebrate the ocassion. You really feel happy when you see everyone in your family are living on happily.
Anyway, I enjoyed my holiday. 2 weeks was well, not too long and not too short.
Mortgage Loans, Banks, and Mortgage Brokers
I think it’s simply common sense to assume that mortgage brokers earns a fair share from banks or other lenders to recommend their client with a mortgage loan. But how much?
Brokers typically receive up-front commissions of around 0.65 per cent of the entire loan amount, followed by a so-called “trail” commission of 0.20 per cent of the loan amount every year that the loan is in force. Some banks, such as NAB, even raise the trail commission to 0.35 per cent from the fourth year onwards to try to persuade brokers not to switch the customer to a better deal from another bank.
