We all know that sports stars get paid pretty well, live well and “date” well. Just look at all the good male sports players and you can really relate how many nice woman they were with before. It doesn’t really matter if you’re playing golf, tennis, soccer, cricket, basketball or formula 1. Sorry, this rule doesn’t apply for badminton players, so far I’ve rarely seen any badminton top players bagging up a hot date with any supermodels or celebrities. Calm means patience and determination, knowing that Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Calm means recongizing that there are times when we win, and there are times when we lost. Ups and downs are inevitable.

Calm means readjusting the sail when you know the wind is changing direction.

Calm means rejuvenating yourself to generate positive mental and physical flow.

Calm means peace. No rush. No fight. Steady.

Calm means accepting imperfect, since nothing is perfect.

Calm means doing the right thing, when it matters the most.

We always forget about this. But in the end, all we need is to be calm and not emotional.

Poker, a game of “constant pricing and repricing of risk”, is fast becoming a younger and more lucrative game. It is getting younger, cleverer, duller and much, much richer. A 19-yo Norwegian woman won the most recent World Series of Poker and $2 million (to add to her $800,000 in internet poker winnings). The article also mentioned 3-time poker champ Stu “The Kid” Ungar and this was something interesting about him:

Ungar won or finished high in so many gin tournaments that several casinos asked him to not play in them because many players said they would not enter if they knew Ungar was playing. Ungar later said in his biography that he loved seeing his opponent slowly break down over the course of a match, realizing he could not win and eventually get a look of desperation on his face. “It was fucking beautiful,” he noted.

Yeah, it’s beautiful when you win the game. So, why are you stil sitting in front of the computer and reading this? You should play some poker!

It’s 28 December 2007. A date worth remembering. If there was a day to set a new year resolution for 2008, it’s today.

What are my goals for 2008
1. Learn affiliate marketing, take action, work hard, test, fail and try again.

2. Energize my mental thoughts and physical power to ensure my goals are attained.

3. Perform professionally in both my full time job and part time on my network of websites, and earn enough in my online websites to quit my day job.

4. Earn 10K USD in a single month in any calendar month in 2008. (Yes, I know it’s peanuts compared to the super affiliates)

5. Strealine my work processes and reach out for help when I needed it.

6. Do what I do do best, build a team and outsource the rest.

Did you notice that 28 and 2008 have something similar. In chinese, or in Cantonese to be exact, 2 can be pronounced as 易(easy) and 8 is often pronounced by chinese as 发(prosperous). So, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking, I sure hope next year 2008 will be a prosperous year for me.

Enough talking. I’m taking action.
