Sony BMG Music Entertainment will crack open the door to its music vaults on Jan. 15, taking the DRM copy-prevention wrapper off a limited selection of downloadable tracks. Canadian RIAA Shuts Down Torrent Tracker Site Demonoid
The CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association) has targetted Demoioind this time and currenty it’s still unsure how the owners of Demonoid will react. Their web hosting company has chose to favor the CRIA and took the website down.
What is left, however, is just a plain message:
“The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.”
