Enjoying Australian Open Tennis 2009 Week 1
Been spending more time then I intended to in front of the tele watching live matches from Australian Open 2009. It started on Monday and since then I’ve been hooked. Not much surprises yet as most of my favorites are still in the game. Watching tennis can be really addictive if you can get what I mean – Aces, Strokes, Skirts, Boobs, the player’s determination etc. It’s like betting horses, just that there’s a 50-50 chances that you will win instead of a heap of horses running at the same time.

Dead Space Similar To Event Horizon
I’ve just watched the animation of Dead Space: Downfall after reading reviews that the video game Dead Space was one of the top games of 2008. I think this is one of the scariest and bloody animation I’ve watched to date (not that I watched a lot of anime in this genre anyway). If you have watched Event Horizon before, you will find that part of the story is pretty similar in that it’s setup in space and crew members starts to lose themselves and “seeing things” while carrying out their mission in space. It was good entertainment though and now Iām off to buy the video game Dead Space.

Alright, another terminator movie and this time set in the future where humans fight the machines. It does looks way more interesting then Terminator 3 which I think was the most boring episode in the terminator franchise.

Netizens Are Smarter Then TV Audiences
This miscellanous thought was sum up today when I notice just how long that I haven’t even turn on the television set in the living room. For me, television programs are overrated, if not retarded. You sit there and basically being fed with programs and infomercials/ads that you have absolutely no control of.
Get a laptop and browse the web and you could learn so much more then sitting in front of a shining black box TV/LCD/Plasma set. On the internet, you decide what you want to do, read, watch and consume. Yeah, there are stil ads but they are generally not as intrusive as those on TV.
Most important of all, you’re in control. Don’t you think you’ll be a bit smarter if you can decide how to spend your time a bit wiser and by consuming information that really matters? I think that’s the better way to go.

A Game of Texas Holdem Poker
So it was a night of Poker again. It really feels good when you can have a feel of how luck sometimes can help you in this game, how to be rational and logical in some cases, plus bluffing and raising the stakes even when you don’t have anything to start off with. Winning and losing changes hands quite often in this game so don’t be surprise if someone who appears to be a winner or loser in a round have a turn of fate and switch positions in the next.

Heroes Season 3 Is Back
Heroes season 3 was really awesome as I’ve watched the 2 premiering episodes all in one go. Season 3 is given a theme named “Villians” and it’s no doubt from the start that the series will see more villians added into the action. It’s good versus the bad, again.
I for once thought that it felt a little bit more violent compared to previous 2 seasons. No time was wasted as each character got chances to plot their storlines. On the other hand, another favorite drama of mine, Prison Break 4, looks much more acceptable and easy to understand if you don’t want to put yourself into pressure of knowing what will happen next, in which Heroes is obviously very good at.
What happens next? Only time will tell š
