Part of the reason is that I’m seeing lots of how to questions being asked and answered on Yahoo Answers, and not to mention that they are getting really good SERP, especially on Google. Looks like Yahoo’s partnership with Google is working out pretty well for Yahoo.

Perhaps one of the most well known written rule of SEO iswas to never use flash to build your contents since search engines only crawls and index text. Flash has always been popular due to its simplicity in building vector graphics, games, animations and rich media. But the tradeoff (at least in the eyes of SEOs) has always been that these contents gets no love from the search engines.
This rule might need to be rewritten as Google has announced that they are now crawling and indexing flash content. It ain’t perfect yet, but we know we’re getting there.
Flash publishers can now probably ask for more pay 🙂

Let the celebration begins as Google is now officially in the affiliate marketing business. After acquiring the Doubleclick brand, Google is ready to do some consolidation and expanding into the affiliate marketing arena.
Using Google Affiliate Network, participating website publishers will get paid a fee for each referral that results in a sale. However, the service isn’t integrated into Google AdSense yet and publishers and advertisers still have to set up separate accounts. An integration with AdSense could add a contextual element to the affiliate ads placed through the network.

Wall Street Journal (WSJ) was quoted that:
As soon as Tuesday (24 June 2008), Google plans to unveil a new service that measures Internet use, according to advertising executives who have been briefed on it. The tool is intended to help advertisers identify the best places to buy online ads by telling them which Web sites their target audiences visit.
Can’t wait to see what this tool will be like and how it differs to Google Trends: Website which was just released last week.

Google Adwords Editor is a desktop application that helps you in managing your CPC campaigns with Google Adwords. Version 6.0 has just been released and introduced some new features.
Account statistics
The CSV export feature now includes any stats you’ve downloaded. You can also refresh the minimum CPC bids in your account by selecting ‘Get Recent Changes > Include Min. CPC Bids’ in the tool bar.
Editing tools
Version 6.0 includes spell-check for several languages, a tool for appending text to columns, and a new drag and drop option for ad groups. Advanced users may also appreciate a new feature of the Replace Text tool: the ability to find and replace text using “formula words.”
Support for AdWords features
You can now download and edit campaigns that use CPC placement targeting and the Conversion Optimizer.
Design improvements
The new tab structure and advanced search dialog are designed to make it easier for you to navigate and edit your campaigns.
