My favorite internet browser, Opera, has a buit in download manager which helps you to handle BitTorrent downloads automatically. This is a nice utility and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as you are already happy using it. However, the only thing that Opera’s BitTorrent built-in client doesn’t do is that it doesn’t allow you to select which files to download in the packaged torrent.
This need got me looking for other download managers such as Thunder (XunLei) and Free Download Manager (FDM) to handle all my downloads. However, by default, Opera still uses its built-in BitTorrent client to download any .torrent files you clicked. In order to get other download managers to handle BitTorrent downloads while using Opera, you have to disable that by doing one of the followings:
