Google annoounced Lively, a social application and website that allows users to create and design their own virtual characters and rooms to interact with others. The concept ain’t new and had been previously proved successful by Second Life which is a 3D virtual world where users can socialize, connect and create using voice and text chat.
You will need to install a client application (Windows Vista/XP only) which you can download here.
