Shortly after writing my post how to surf the net anonymously using Tor, I discovered OperaTor which is a free portable software bundle containing:
1. Opera
2. Tor
3. Polipo (web proxy)
The main difference when compared with the traditional Tor bundle is that OperaTor uses a specific browser (which is obviously Opera) and uses Polipo instead of Privoxy as a web proxy.
The best part is that OperaTor is aimed to be portable and can be run from your USB or portable disk drives. All configurations and settings will be saved on your portable device instead of on the host machine you are using it on.

This is good info do you know how to configure it with IE.

I haven’t come across a portable version of IE yet. So if you’re able to find one, the proxy configuration steps are still basically the same as in this how to surf the internet anonymously post.
