Apple iSlate, or whatever you want to call it, seems to be the buzz of the month. Does it look like another market trend is booming because even Microsoft is showing their so-called tablet in CES.
When the netbook came out, I thought it was STUPID, why would someone buy one? Apparently, it was a big hit. Sales figures proves it, and it’s still growing. It’s cheap, it’s small, last longer on batteries and it got more people who have never used a computer to start using computers. Some people even bought one just because it was cool and it was the thing to get for a holiday present. Personally, I have never considered getting one but that’s just me.
What is a tablet anyway? Does Amazon Kindle look like a tablet to you? Heck, Amazon Kindle could even upgrade their hardware and add more features and call itself a “tablet”.
I do love the idea of having something thin, light and lidless. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see if the rumor of Apple tablet is true and see what the technical specs and features of Apple tablet is before deciding on taking any actions.
How about you? What ticks in your head when you hear “Apple Tablet”? Will you buy one if there’s really one (I know some hardcore apple fans surely will)?
